Isaac Northwood Memorial Fund

OVERVIEW

Isaac Northwood (Sep 17, 2005 — Mar 5, 2026) was a prominent member of the WBL Ultimate team from 2021-2024, serving as captain his Junior and Senior Year. After Isaacs unfortunate passing, his family wanted to honor him through the sport that he loved and started the Isaac Northwood Memorial Fund. The fund went live in the spring of 2026. The goal of this fund is to help grow the game of Ultimate Frisbee in White Bear Lake. In addition to scholarships, his family and the program are in talks of how best to use this fund which may include summer camps, White Bear Press publications, middle school support and other ways to get the word out about the program.

Scholarships

Part of the fund has been set aside to cover registration costs for any player unable to pay. If this applies to you simply email whitebearlakeultimate@gmail.com to inquire how to access the funds.

DONATIONS

If you wish to donate to this fund you can either (1) mail or drop off a check/money order with the memo ‘Isaac Northwood Memorial Fund’ to the White Bear Lake Area Educational Foundation (2399 Cedar Ave, #633, White Bear Lake, MN 55110) or (2) pay electronically by going to wblaef.org, select ‘Support’, then ‘Donate’. On ‘My Donation is For:’, choose ‘Isaac Northwood Memorial’.
