FEBRUARY 13 7:00-9:00PM – SOUTH’S THEATER
KICK-OFF MEETING (ALL PLAYERS + PARENTS)

All parents and players must attend our 2019 Kick-Off Meeting in the South Campus theater. We've got a lot of exciting updates to share for the season that's just around the corner. WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 14 7:00AM
FEEPAY Registration opens

All players interested in joining WBL Ultimate must sign up on FeePay by March 1. The cost for the 2019 season is $150 which includes Minnesota Ultimate league fees, bids to our tournaments for the season, two jerseys, shorts and a disc. Players are required to have a valid USA Ultimate number which is not included in the FeePay registration fee. FEBRUARY 15, 22 & March 1 8:30PM-9:30PM
OPEN GYM SKILLS SESSIONS @ SUNRISE MS

Not a tryout. Bring friends and fellow athletes! These are great opportunities for prospective players to see what the program and sport is all about. We strongly encourage all you current players to bring someone new to these sessions and introduce them to the program! Sessions will be held in the gym at Sunrise Middle School.

March 4, 6 3:15PM-5:30PM

MARCH 2, 3 AND 8 (TIMES VARY)
BOYS TRYOUTS & GIRLS PRACTICE @ NORTH CAMPUS

Boys Tryout Information:
All boys must attend at least 2 sessions. Players should bring running shoes, a light and a dark jersey (or your reversible) and plenty of water. All players that signup and attend tryouts will be placed on a team; no cuts. All tryout sessions take place in the North Campus gym. The days and times of the tryout sessions are as follows:

  • March 2 3:00pm-5:30pm

  • March 3 6:30pm-9:00pm

  • March 8 3:00pm-5:15pm

Girls Practice:
The girls team will have an indoor practice on March 2 from 5:30pm-8:00pm in the North Campus gym. Players should bring running shoes, a light and a dark jersey (or a reversible) and plenty of water.

 

March 18 4:30-6:30PM
1st practice @ NORTH CAMPUS

Note the location change — we’re no longer at Sunrise! More to come on what to expect at practices, transportation, etc. at our Kick-Off Meeting on February 13th. See you there!

APRIL 27-28
MATOSKA CLASSIC (OUR HOME TOURNAMENT)

Nearly 40 teams will be coming to South Campus and Sunrise Middle School for our home tournament, the Matoska Classic. Started in 2016, this is an essential fundraiser for our program, and more importantly, a key opportunity for our players to get valuable early-season games against teams from across Minnesota and the midwest. Parents can expect ample volunteer opportunities throughout the weekend — stay tuned or reach out whitebearlakeultimate@gmail.com if you have a specific role or idea you’d like to offer up!

MAY 18-19
GOEKE MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT

The Goeke Memorial tournament is held at Aronson Park in Lakeville, MN. More details can be found here: http://applevalleyultimate.org/2019-chris-goeke-memorial.

JUNE 1-2, 4
MInnesota ULTIMATE STATE TOURNAMENT

The state tournament is held at the National Sports Center in Blaine, MN. More details can be found here: http://www.minnesotaultimate.org/high-school-state-tournament.

WEEK OF JUNE 3
END OF SEASON BANQUET
